Welcome to the Kewl Amiga Page!

So what is this page about?

Well, many months past, I was looking around my room when I noticed, untouched in a corner, my old friend, Mr A2000. Now, this A2000 was untouched because, as is normal, had not touched it. Why? Because, it was not always working properly, being as it was an unusual combination of parts. Basically, because I knew not then things I now know, it was not possible for me to write a file larger than about 100kb. This is, naturally, a problem leading to me not touching it.
So, there I was noticing my old friend Mr A2000, when it dawned on me that I might fix him in order that he work more correctly. I pensated a little more and realised that why not, while I am at it, buy a new friend for Mr A2000. This then lead me to a search for parts for Mr A2000 (my old friend) and also a new friend for him. Easier said than done. It turned out that finding A2000 parts, or any Amiga parts, in Australia is a little difficult. But yay, I did persisteth, and lo, after some fruitless days, found a new friend for my old friend Mr A2000.
So, this then, is the results of my searchings. Some links so that you who are reading this not need search so much, as I did.

Places for buying:

Australia

Amiga Innovations is good place to buy Amiga stuff, hardwares, softwares, second hand. It is over in WA in Perth, Australia. They can be a bit slow to respond to messages sometimes, but I think this is because they are so busy. They also but used stuff sometimes and seem nice enough. They sell os3.9, roms, and most importantly Tower cases for A1200. Amiga Innovations

These guys are in Port Macquarie, NSW, Australia. They sell lots of Amiga things and ship worldwide. They do a fair bit of business on eBay, which is where I found them. Their prices are similar to Amiga Innovations', somethings more, others less, so I recommend to check them both. Ofcourse, if you are on the east coast postage is less. They have lots of CD-ROMs and say they can sell you an A1200 in a variety of configs. Anything Amiga

Overseas

These guys are German. This might be a problem if you are far from Europe but they have a HUGE range. If it is being made for the Amiga chances are these guys have it. They were a little slow to respond to my messages but I did message them in English and they are German so maybe that was a problem. They ship worldwide but like full payment in advance. Shipping costs can be quite substantial (10 per kilo and more!).Vesalia

Everywhere

The other choice is somewhere like eBay. They have lots of cool stuff on eBay, and often is cheap, the problem is that it might also be broken. I have bought a few things on eBay in Australia, including a second hand A1200 with 060, CD-RW drive and 4Gb hard drive. I have also bought some CD-ROMs and things for pc (BLEh!). eBays are everywhere, so there are many local addresses, this is link for the Australian eBay (where I sell somethings).  eBay is Australia's leading online market place

Infoes on Hardware.

These two sites have info on almost every Amiga hardwares made.  The Big Book of Amiga Hardware and LexSite . This is useful if you are buying some second hand things and want more infoes on them.
